Chau Family Law is a boutique firm practicing exclusively in the area of Family Law. Whilst we are based in the South East suburbs of Melbourne, we are able to service clients across metropolitan Melbourne utilising video and audio conferencing technology.
We pride ourselves in providing legal advice that is practical, cost effective, responsive and with the aim of obtaining the best possible outcome for you. Our strong ethos is showing compassion and having integrity.
Our director and principal lawyer – Hong Chau graduated from Monash University in 2003 having completed a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws. She was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and High Court of Australia in April 2005. She has practiced exclusively in Family Law since that time.
Hong’s experience includes acting for individuals in highly contested parenting disputes with the complications of mental health issues, family violence, drug and alcohol addiction, sexual abuse, disputes as to parentage, relocations – interstate and overseas, parental alienation and financial cases involving family businesses, companies, and trusts.
Hong is a mother of two busy boys. In her ‘spare time’ she enjoys watching K drama, serves in her local church and volunteers as a board member of a not-for-profit organization.
